Meet our interns!
Our Internship has begun and we are very glad to be have (L-R) Bethany, Hannah and Kellyn join the Belfast Bible College team. I'll let them tell you you a bit about themselves in their own words...
Hello! My name is Bethany and I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of the team at BBC this year! I am from Siloam Springs, a small town in the northwest corner of Arkansas, USA. I am easily made happy with a good cup of coffee and a dog (especially if the dog is a corgi). This year I am serving as the Community Life Intern and Hostel Supervisor. In Community Life, I am assisting with everything from chapel to fellowship groups and pastoral care. As Hostel Supervisor, I am serving on the Accommodation Committee to foster a positive community in the on-site accommodation. This year I am excited to see how the Lord will inspire hearts of service and compassion that desire more of him and more of others in the students, staff, and myself. I am also thrilled to have the opportunity to put my education and experience into practice. In the past I have served in various areas including at a summer camp, in student accommodations, and as a leader for mission teams. I am an alumna of John Brown University where I majored in Family and Human Services. Most recently, I worked toward a Master’s at Queen’s University Belfast. Now, I am eager to implement my knowledge and heart for Christian community in the city that I have grown to love and consider a home.
Hello, my name is Hannah Keller. I've come to Belfast from Colorado, USA where I studied Cinematography at the Colorado Film School for the last 3 years. My internship at the Belfast Bible College will be focused on creating visual content for College- specifically film and video pieces for their website and social media. The College is bubbling with incredible people full of vibrant and encouraging stories. I'm looking forward to develop as a storyteller for the Kingdom of God and explore the beauties of Northern Ireland this year!
My name is Kellyn, I’m a graphic designer and photographer. I’m originally from Nova Scotia, Canada but have lived in Northern Ireland for 12 years now. I studied graphic design & illustration at University and very glad to be at the Bible College this year to be a part of the communications team. During the week you’ll find me about the college taking photos of college life or in the office working on creative projects for the website, social media or for publications. I want this year to be about applying myself for God and I am so excited to see how he is working in and through everyone here - I would love create work that expresses what he’s up to.Back
