Lydia Collins
Librarian
Lydia is responsible for the management of the college library, ensuring that it meets the academic needs of both staff and students. This includes the acquisition and cataloguing of new books, the management of journal subscriptions, library inductions, and providing students with the appropriate resources and support for their studies. Having completed a BA in History and English, Lydia qualified as a librarian in 2007 through Loughborough University and worked as a school librarian for 9 years, joining Belfast Bible College in 2016. A typical day in the library will vary from cataloguing journal articles to dealing with copyright issues, as well as helping students find the resources they need. The library office door is always open and students (and staff) are encouraged to call in if they need any help.
