The College are currently seeking to recruit new members of staff to enhance our team. We are a Christian community with a focus on resourcing the Church for the Mission of God. Are you passionate about seeing people trained and equipped to serve locally and globally? Both for Christian Ministry and for serving in communities, churches and workplaces?
We are recruiting for a new member of our teaching team at the College to lecture in the area of Missiology. We are looking for someone who is passionate about equipping students for mission and ministry in the ever changing culture of the world in which we live.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic about teaching Missiology and Practical Studies in an environment where rigorous academic study is intended to foster growth in Christian commitment, character and service.
They should be committed to providing a quality learning experience for students across all the colleges’ programmes (Evening Classes to Postgraduate students) and to their own continual professional development both in their specialist subject area and in their skills as a lecturer and researcher. The applicant should have a vision for developing the teaching of missiology and practical studies in the college, a willingness to oversee and develop a specific area of college life beyond their subject specialism and the desire to engage with students within the broader college context.
Hours of work: Full time hours. Flexibility will be required to meet the varying needs of teaching courses which may involve some evening and weekend work. (Full-time lecturers at the College are expected to teach in the Evening Class Programme.) Start Date: January 2018
