To study in detail a selection of Old Testament texts that are theologically problematic for modern Christian readers.

On successful completion, you will be able to:

Demonstrate detailed and up-to-date knowledge of scholarship on one or more 'problematic' Old Testament texts

Assimilate, analyse and critically evaluate different scholarly approaches
