Welcome to the library at Belfast Bible College! We provide spacious study facilities over two rooms, the Main Library and our recently refurbished Reading Room. The library has an established and extensive collection of books and journals with a current stock of around 25,000 volumes, including many specialist texts, particularly in the areas of Biblical Studies, Practical Theology, Missiology, Theological Education and Disability Theology.

The library also has a growing collection of online resources, with access to over 600 journals via the ATLA Religion database and EBSCO's Religion and Philosophy Collection. We provide onsite access to BibleWorks for exegesis and students have further access to resources from their validating university (QUB). Other online resources available in Theology are listed here.

The excellent study facilities have recently been significantly extended to provide more seating for the growing number of students. There is seating for 70 library users and access to the Heritage library catalogue is available both onsite and online.

We have substantial holdings of missionary biographies with a special collection on Amy Carmichael. Multiple copies of core texts are available for students’ use and further resources for study are provided on the learning management platform SharePoint.

For more details regarding library use for current students, please go to the Student Resources page HERE.
