What is a catalyst?

The key property of a catalyst, is that it quickens the development of something into becoming what it is meant to be. We all need a bit of a push, a jolt forwards, a quickening (or, to use an old word from the birth of evangelicalism, the unction of the Spirit) in order to get up off the sofa, shut down the TV and go and pursue life and mission in the kingdom. Whether you need a sturdy hand up from a comfy couch or you are already standing and ready for your next step, this 2023/24 programme offers a heartening range of catalysing opportunities.

There are highly vocational catalyst courses, designed to mobilise individuals into specific ministries and mission. BBC is delighted to partner with a range of fantastic missions and ministries in the field which will create a necessary balance between good theology and expert practice.
