Student accommodation (which has been inspected and passed by the Northern Ireland tourist Board) is provided in Riverside and Wellesley Houses located either side of the entrance to the campus. Preference is normally given to overseas students, and year 1 students, but there is a large amount of rooms and houses available in neighbouring streets regarding which the college can provide information.
Riverside House has 10 single rooms on each floor. Each room has a bed, wardrobe and storage space, study desk and chair, a wash hand basin and IT access. Wi-Fi is also available in most rooms. One side of the building overlooks the river and woodlands, the other the college garden and lawns. Shared facilities of four toilets, two baths and two showers are available on each floor, and there is a small ground floor kitchen and lounge for the exclusive use of our resident students. The College Wardens live on-site in a private apartment in Riverside House.
Wellesley House is for self-catering students. The ground floor has four individual self-contained flats for married couples, each with a double bedroom/study, a lounge, kitchen/dinette, and bath or shower room. The upper floor has two independent flats, each comprising five individual single study/bedrooms, two shower rooms and a kitchen.
A laundry room with washing machines, tumble dryers, and airing stands is available to all residents as is access to the student recreation facilities.
Occasionally we have spare capacity, and students in the hostels can rent a room for visiting family or friends. Accommodation charges and rental periods are included on our fee sheet click HERE.
