| Return from Belfast to Grenada |

|
My name is Chris Keiller, and I’m from Germany, but my parents (and passport) are English.
I’m doing the academic degree course at BBC. Before starting just over a year ago, I spent three years onboard the missionary ship Logos II.
This summer I had the opportunity to return to the Logos II for almost three months, helping out by doing the job I did there previously – lining up the ship’s visit to a port in advance. I was sent to Grenada (Eastern Caribbean) with two other people, and had about two months to get everything ready before the ship came for two weeks in August.
This job is a great opportunity to see God at work, He opened doors and answered many prayers. For instance, the Grenadian Ministry of Finance issued a letter granting us permission to stay in Grenada without paying the usual port fees (a substantial amount!) Apart from providing Christian and educational literature for the people, our main focus was to get the youth in Grenada excited about living for Jesus, rather than just conforming to the society around them… Many got involved in our various programmes onboard, and by the end of the time we could see that many of them had been challenged to let God transform their lives. As the ship moves on (and I get back into the books!) we pray that these young people will continue to grow.
For me, it’s great to come back to Belfast with a fresh motivation after this practical experience…
