Practical training

Alongside academic study and community life, practical training is a vital component of studying at Belfast Bible College.

All BBC students have the opportunity to complete a weekly and five-week block placement during their time studying with us. Students complete their placements within a range of churches, ministries and organisations, and are involved in a variety of roles, including  youth or children's  ministry, church activities, outreach and evangelism.

Some students come to BBC with a very clear sense of what their future ministry involvement will look like, but many others come with no clear direction. The Practical Placement is a really important way of allowing individuals to develop their skills, try new things and most importantly get a sense for what God may (or may not be!) be calling them to in the future.
