Most of our students, particularly those from other parts of the UK, Ireland and further afield enjoy exploring the city and country where they are studying.
Although BBC is located in a quiet residential suburb, the campus is between the cities of Belfast and Lisburn, both of which have a wide range of amenities and are easily accessible by public or private transport. Belfast is well serviced with links to the rest of the UK, and has two airports - Belfast City and Belfast International, both of which have regular flights to cities throughout the UK. Dublin airport can be reached by bus from Belfast city centre.
Although Belfast is well-known for it's troubled past, much has changed and the city is thriving and moving forward, making it an increasingly popular destination for tourists. Within easy travelling distance of Belfast, there is also much to see, including the Giant’s Causeway and famous North Antrim Coast.
Ireland has a rich spiritual and cultural heritage which many of our students choose to explore during their time here. Northern Irish hospitality is world-renowned, and those travelling from overseas quickly feel that BBC is their 'home from home.'
To get a feel for what life at BBC is really like, you are welcome to come and visit us at any time.
