The day at BBC begins with a time of community prayer, giving staff and students the chance to come together and pray for one another and for the life and work of the college. That same spirit of devotion continues throughout the day, into the classroom.
Lectures are an integral part of the BBC day - a reminder that BBC is a uniquely spiritual learning environment, where interaction between staff and students is as often marked by laughter as by serious discussion.
Coffee and lunch breaks are another key part of the BBC day, fostering a strong sense of community, as lives and experiences are shared and discussions started in the classroom are continued.
Free time during the day gives the opportunity to study in the library, relax in the Lounge, play table tennis in the games room or spend time with members of your prayer triplet. On sunny days, the campus grounds are a perfect place to relax, to spend time along listening to God, or enjoy a game of volleyball or football.
Opportunities for corporate and individual worship also form an integral part of the college week, as does a student's weekly placement.
As well as the busyness of life on campus, there are also plenty of opportunities for activity and relaxation off campus. The college is within easy reach of Belfast city centre and major cultural and tourist sites throughout the province are easily accessible.
