These are full internal awards of the University and, while the teaching for these courses is done in the college, the student is a member of both Belfast Bible College and Queen's University and is afforded all the privileges of an internal student of Queen's.
The Institute of Theology at Queen's is independently rated as one of the top in the United Kingdom.
As a general rule, three modules are taught in each of the six semesters and examined at the end of the semester in which they are taught.

The difference between the B.Th and the B.D. is that the latter has the biblical languages of Greek and Hebrew as mandatory modules of the degree.
The Diploma course takes two years full time and the two academic degree courses, B.D. and B.Th., take three years full time.
Degree students participate fully in the wider programme of BBC (Practical Christian Service, Spiritual Development and Community Involvement). This additional participation is recognised by the award of an Associate Diploma from Belfast Bible College, in addition to the Degree awarded by Queen's university Belfast.

Entry Entry requirements are set by the university and more current and complete information can be obtained on request from the college or from the Admissions Department of the University.
For students under 21, offers have been made in the past few years, on the basis of three BBB at 'A' level.
Students over 21 are regarded as mature students and offers are made on a more flexible basis. BBC can offer the following access routes into the degree: our A level course taught on Tuesday evenings (which can be combined with a one year full time course in college subjects), our two year Diploma in the Bible and the Church's Mission with an average score of 60 or above, or our three year Diploma in Theological Studies, all with a recommending reference from BBC.
