The PhD is a highly regarded research degree awarded by Queen’s University, Belfast which can be taken over three years full–time or four to six years part–time. Students are expected to have a 2.1 honours degree in Theology, from a recognised university, as well as a Master’s degree in Theology. It is ideally suited to those who are wishing to pursue teaching at a tertiary level, or be involved in the field of theological education.
Overseas applicants must have a GPA of 3.5 in an undergraduate degree in theology, as well as a good Masters degree, from a recognised university. Applicants must also have an IELTS score of 7.0 or above, if English is not their first language.
